a lot of reads that I’ve enjoyed — Betty, The Neapolitan Quartwt and Know My Name are absolute favorites always. I need to get to the rest that are on my tbr but my only disagreement would probably be A Very Nice Girl, which I thought of as too repetitive/cliche.

yes great taste! i think i read ‘a very nice girl’ when i was very into sad girl lit fic, and i related to the parts about singing, i haven’t read about that in many books

You have amazing taste in books, and it’s also refreshing to see book reviews that aren’t always about the same four novels that everyone already knows and loves. I especially loved the glass castle, and I found myself agreeing with most of what you had to say. I trust u now and I added some to my list!

thank you!! one of my reading goals for 2025 is to read more ‘unpopular’ books as i get tired of seeing the same books over and over too

I absolutely devoured Boy Parts, Sorrow and Bliss and Acts of Desperation. I’ve read all of these multiple times, such masterpieces!!
